Juicer Reviews by the "Master Juicer"

Are you searching for juicer reviews because you are new to juicing or want to upgrade your juicer? Well, you have come to the right place. I have been juicing religiously for over 15 years. I consume at least 2 gallons of juice a week. In order to juice such large amounts of juice it is imperative that I have a powerful and dependable juice machine.

Instead of reviewing ten different juicers I've decided to simply go over three that I consider to be in the top tier. Let me be clear, I am not an affiliate of any of these juicers, so you can be sure that you'll be getting an unbiased review for each juice machine.

Don't buy a cheap model-

Juicer Reviews- During my early days of juicing, I remember someone giving me a small cheap juice machine which I took with me on vacation in Jamaica. Result? Not good! My advice is stay far away from juicers under $100.00. Many of these, have cheap motors that are less than 1/4 horsepower and cannot handle rinds, seeds, stems or cores.

1. The Jack Lalanne Power Juicer

Juicer Reviews at Amazon give Jack Lalanne's Power Juicer Deluxe a three out of five star rating. I had one for about four years. The price is reasonable and I highly recommend this machine for someone new to juicing. There is another version called The Power Juicer Classic that comes in white. However, I recommend paying the extra money and buy the stainless steel version because the white one can stain especially if you juice beets.

Here are some other features that stand out to me:

Surgical-Quality Stainless Steel Blade

Whisper-Quiet Operation

RPM Induction Motor with a lifetime warranty

Extra-Large Round Chute

The only thing I do not like about the power juicer is the "safety features". Let me explain. The machine is built so that if it overheats it will shut off by itself. However, you have to wait until the motor cools before you can use it again. This can be annoying if you juice in large quantities like myself.

2. The Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite - Juicer Review

Juicer Reviews at Amazon give the Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite a four-and-a-half-star. I give it a five star. It is indeed a juicing workhorse.

In 2009, I decided to upgrade my juicer as a Christmas gift to myself. I did a lot of research and decided to go with the Breville 800JEXL. If you are really serious about juicing you can't go wrong with this one. It has a 1000-watt (1-1/3 horsepower) motor. Now that's powerful! It has an Italian made electronic motor that increases power under yield to maintain filter revolutions. It has two speeds for soft and hard fruits and a three inch feed tube which minimizes preparation and feeding time. I also love the 34-fluid-ounce (1 liter) juicing pitcher that fits right under the spigot of the juicer.

I have never had the motor overheat on me which is a great plus over the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer. I highly recommend the Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite. It's great!

3. Champion Commercial Juicer - Juicer Review

Juicer Reviews at Amazon give the Champion Commercial Juicer a solid four star rating. I've never owned or used one of these machines. However, I do have a friend who has one.

When I decided to upgrade from my Jack Lalanne Power Juicer it was a toss-up between the Breville 800JEXL and the Champion Juicer. The main reason I went with the Breville was because the Champion juicer does not juice as fast as the Breville 800JEXL.

Also, if you plan on juicing in a lot of juice at one time like I do, consider this... the more you juice at one time the harder it will be because the pulp will start backing up into the food chute.

Here are some key features of the Champion juicer:

Track record of over 20 years

1/3 horsepower heavy duty GE motor

Large feeding tube, making it easy to juice larger vegetables without cutting them very versatile machine and can juice all types of fruits and vegetables.

Well, there you have it... my three top juicer reviews. Remember, the health benefits of juicing are many. I have been reaping these benefits for over a decade. So, here's to your health!
